Everybody's seen the image of the sexy vixen. She's thin, she's smart, she's witty, she's outspoken, she's the envy of every woman and the desire of every man - and she's probably got one or more sexy back tattoos. Do you think it's a coincidence? Think again.

Even as tattooing has become relatively more mainstream in America, there's still something temptingly transgressive about a woman who gets a tattoo. Maybe it's the permanency, or maybe it's the idea of rebellion. It's most likely a combination of the two.

The woman who gets a sexy tattoo is a woman who knows what she wants - and who usually gets it, too. She's not afraid to make a decision and go for it. She knows that the decision she's making is one to last a lifetime, but she's not scared. Instead, she's eager to show just how happy and confident she is at this point in her life, and she probably wants to remember it forever.

This woman is probably a little bit rebellious, too. She isn't afraid to stretch, bend, and sometimes break the rules. By getting a tattoo, she's making a definite statement, saying, "This is who I am, and I'm not ashamed of it!" She's not going to let anyone else tell her what it means to be feminine or to be a woman. If she wants a tattoo, then she's going to get it, regardless of what anyone else thinks.

But she's also a woman who's clever. No matter how unfair it is, the fact remains that some people have condescending attitudes about tattoos. This woman's tattoo is definitely sexy, but she knows that she might have to cover it up for work in the morning. The back is the perfect position: she can show off her ink with a short shirt and low-cut jeans, but when it's time to get down to business, a responsible suit can keep her secret safe.

The back is not only clever - it's also very sexy! Men are undeniably attracted to the woman's back. Its skin is smooth and soft; its curves are subtle, sexy, and oh-so-tempting. By getting a sexy tattoo on her back, this woman is drawing attention to one of her most flattering features.

Another great reason to choose the back for a tattoo is that it won't hurt too badly. Some places on the body have more nerve endings than others. The wrist, for example, or the neck are frequently very painful. The skin on the back is not as sensitive, and because it is not exposed to the elements, it will hurt less and heal quickly.

The most important thing to remember about sexy back tattoos is that YOU are what makes them sexy! You can tattoo anything you want - your name, a flower, a knot, or a symbol - whatever is important to you. The sexy part is how you wear the tattoo, and when you've made such an empowering decision, you've got every reason to flaunt it.

Let's start off from the beginning, what are the most popular designs for foot tattoos? Well for starters, popular designs for women tend to be flowers, stars, butterflies, and cute animals. However for both sexes, there are a variety of tattoo designs that are widely popular

Men may get foot tattoos of some religious reference, a tribal tattoo, or animals on their foot. There isn't a set barometer of what gender gets what - it all depends on the owner of what tattoo they get.

Ankle Tat Ideas

Many people think of the ankle tattoo as something women and girls get. That's why it's hard to find "masculine" images and tend to find feminine images - or at least images that society links with women.

These images include flowers, butterflies, hearts, and others. Also, getting anime characters, hearts, kanji writing, and other designs on the ankle are common as well.

Many people believe that the ankle is not a painful place to get a tattoo - however, it is one of the more painful places to get a tattoo as there is not much fat between the skin and bone.

High ankle tattoos are not that painful, but the lower you go, the more pain you'll feel - so be sure that you know exactly where you want to get your tat!

Both foot and ankle tattoos are great places to get them because they can be covered up if you want them to. You can simply where a higher sock, some longer pants, some nice fit jeans, or whatever - that's why many tattoo rookies and tattoo vets get ankle tattoos, either because of their convenience or style!

Mehndi Henna Tattoo Kit

Henna is a wonderful nonpermanent body decoration alternative. It's traditionally used by women in India, Africa, and the Middle East to decorate hands and the feet (and to bring love, prosperity, and safety in childbirth). This kit contains everything you need, including suggested patterns. Making the henna paste is easy--you follow clear instructions for combining the powder, mordant, and eucalyptus oil, and then use the metal application tip to make precise pattern lines. The coloration will wear off in 7 to 10 days. --Richard Farr

Customer Review: SO much fun!
My friends and I are having SO MUCH FUN with this toy! It works great, but it takes longer than 20 seconds to dry. In the summer it's going to be even better!!
Customer Review: SHOULD NOT BE SOLD
This product does not work- might as well blow ink through a straw at your child. Took 30 minutes to get it out of the packaging and load it up with batteries. Child was so excited - and then cried when she saw it make a fuzzy, smeary, stainy mess on her skin. Companies that have no retail presence can make crap like this cause you can't return them once you've opened the box.

Tattoos can be a wonderful form a self expression but unfortunately people tend to make mistakes when picking out their tattoo designs. It might seem all fine and dandy when you are 18 but when you are in your 40's you might be scratching your head wondering why you got what you got tattooed on you and might even wish you would not have gotten it in the first place. Believe it or not this happens a lot more often than you would think.

The singer Brandy Norwood has recently admitted that she regrets getting every single one of her tattoos and wishes she could go back in time and decide not to get them. Brandy has a total of five tattoos, a very large one on her lower back, one on each shoulder, one on her ankle and one on her foot. She told the ladies of the talk show The View, "I'm done, because, when you're a woman, sometimes it's just too much... and I have too many."

However, Brandy has recently admitted to Sister 2 Sister Magazine that she regrets her whole tattoo collection. She had some concerns when her six year old daughter approached her and told her she wanted a tattoo and Brandy talked her out of it. This is what Brandy had to say about regretting her tattoos and conniving her daughter not to wanting one.

"I told her, 'Guess what? When mama gets 80 or 90 years old, these tattoos are going to look terrible. They're going to be wrinkled, they're going to look ugly. Mama wishes I never got a tattoo because I didn't think about when I turn 80, how they're going to be.'

"She just got a kick out of that. She said, 'Well, you know what? I'm never going to get a tattoo because I don't want my body to shrivel up when I get (to) 80 and my tattoos look a mess.'"

Where have you ended up looking for a tribal arm tattoo? If you are anything like a large portion of the folks who are trying to find one, you have been weeding through galleries that have nothing besides the same generic junk as the next site. Everyone is seeing the same cookie cutter tribals wherever they go. This can be stopped, though. Here's how to find a superb tribal arm tattoo and the sites that have them.

I felt the need to write about this subject, because this is the kind of info people need. I was tied of seeing so many well intentioned people look at nothing but old, generic designs and never get the the sites that really have the good stuff. There is a reason you will see nothing but cookie cutter designs when looking for a tribal arm tattoo. It's because you are probably using some sort of basic search engine to pull up the sites that will have them.

Long story short, this method is not working very well. Over 90% of people looking for a tribal arm tattoo will use one, which is why so many folks keep seeing the same generic junk as the next person. Search engines are just bringing up list of sites that could care less about the quality of the artwork they present. It's all about "quantity" for them and couldn't care less about how good the artwork is. That's a shame. The saddest part is that many people are settling on some of the generic junk they find, simply because they couldn't locate anything better!

What you need is a fresh, better way to pull up the sites that actually take pride in having a quality tribal arm tattoo database. The good sites are out there, so this is definitely possible. You need to use forums to pin point the galleries that have amazing artwork. I say this because it works, plain and simple. The bigger the forum you scan through, the more topics you can pull up on tattoos and various related subjects.

That's what you need. Many of these topics are loaded to the brim with people who are more than willing to share their findings of top notch artwork. It's the hidden, underground type of galleries that tend to take real pride in posting fantastic artwork and this is the way to pull them up with ease, so you can grab a quality tribal arm tattoo and not just some random generic piece. That's what it all comes down to.

You have the choice of getting a generic tribal arm tattoo that you don't 100% like, or taking a couple minutes to locate the quality artwork you truly want.

Here are the 3 largest, most original galleries to find the perfect Tribal Arm Tattoo.

Adam Woodham is the author of this article and runs the blog Quality Tattoo Art, which features the 3 top galleries, with the absolute largest galleries of tribals you can imagine. Finding good tattoo designs has never been easier.

Many people like to have flower designs applied as tattoos to their body and a Hawaiian flower tattoo picture is one of the most popular images for this as its a very beautiful flower. Because of the intense colors that are present in many flowers the tattoo artist sometimes needs to go over a design for a flower a few times with different colors of ink that can accentuate the colors in any flower tattoo.

Some people have small tattoos of flowers on their ankle or wrist for example while others may have a flower that covers half their body. Some cultures value flowers mush more than others and this is one of the reason why some cultural groups prefer to have flower tattoos on their bodies more than others. In many cultures for example, the flower isnt viewed as a fragile symbol of beauty as it often is in North American culture. In some cultures the flower is associated with strength and power and this is why some men have flowers as tattoos and dont think anything is feminine or fragile about it.

Many women, when they cant decide on what they might like for a tattoo, choose flowers more often than not simply because they know that they will like the design for many years to come. There are many styles and types of flower designs in tattoo shop catalogs that the customer can choose from. These designs can also be highly modified to make them even more unique for the customer.

Many Hawaiian people have flower tattoos due to the flowers integral attachment to their past. Many of their tales have flowers as part of the story and thats also why the lei or rings of flowers - are associated with their state. Flower tattoos can be in any of a thousand colors and some will look better than others on different people.

Many women when they choose a flower motif as their tattoo image will choose the red rose simply because its associated with romance and true love. Others will choose the daisy or sunflower because its associated with vibrancy and life. The main thing to remember is that if you want a flower tattoo you should make sure that whatever design you decide upon is what you really want. Doing research on web sites devoted to tattooing or to flowers and flower designs can help you decide on which design might be right for you. The nice thing about having a flower tattoo is that if you want another style of flower someday you can simply have the tattoo artist ink one in next to the other one. Pretty soon you may have a whole bouquet of flowers on your body, which isnt a bad thing at all.

Feminine Tattoos - A Delicate and Beautiful Art

Tattoos were often considered to be the stuff of macho bikers that wanted to show that they can stand all that pain. Today tattoos have become part of mainstream culture and are being used by people who wish to show their appreciation for art and beauty. During the early days of this change the art of tattooing was more or less confined to men. It is only in recent that more and more women are going in for tattoos. This is because of a vast change in social perception where women tattoos are no longer frowned upon. There are several celebrities that have got tattoos and this has increased popular appeal for this form of art and also increased the social acceptance of tattoos on women. Because of this there are now new designs that specially appeal to feminine tastes.

Feminine tattoos are generally smaller and far prettier than those for men. Whereas male tattoos often include animals, logos, and other intimidating symbols tattoos for women feature flowers, butterflies, fairies, and similar concepts that represent delicacy and beauty. Tattoos for women feature thinner lines with more delicate coloring. They are not as aggressive in appearance as male tattoos. However, even this trend is undergoing a change because the increasing popularity of female tattoos has resulted in some women going in for heavy tattoos of the sort preferred by men.

Tattoo artists are now reporting that their largest clientele is made of women. They also state that women are better than men when it comes to the application of tattoos. For women, the design of tattoos is as important as the placement. Women spend far too much time comparing and selecting designs based on the body part where they intend to apply it. Though women are increasingly going in for heavier design elements their focus still remains on the sophisticated and the beautiful.

Two areas are generally preferred by women and these are the lower back and the tail bone areas. The lower back area is quite tantalizing and a sensitive spot for a woman to have a tattoo on. It is visible only in glimpses and like all things that are doled out in rare flashes this increases its appeal. Most of the designs for the lower back area tend to follow a V shape in order to accentuate the figure of the female form. Some of the most commonly used designs for this area include butterflies, angels, lions, hearts, insect wings, serpents, and several sorts of flowers. Nearly all designs are elaborated with wings or tendrils for a more balanced look. The lotus flower is supposed to represent the past, present, and the future. Flowers and animals are representative of femininity and fertility. Serpents and dragons are hints of trouble. The eagle represents courage and determination.

Another preferred area is the foot or ankle. These tattoos represent purity and simplicity. Professional and career minded women usually prefer foot or ankle tattoos because they are highly personal and not overbearing in any way.

Lots of people who have never had a tattoo done will almost inevitably ask someone who has had a tattoo done the age-old question - does getting a tattoo hurt? It's a perfectly natural question to ask because after all the whole process does involve needles being inserted into your skin. So does it actually hurt or not?

Well the truth is that unfortunately there is a small amount of pain involved. You will find that different people will have different accounts of just how painful it is. For some people who have been around the block a bit and experienced lots of painful experiences the whole process will be a piece of cake, but for others who maybe haven't experienced any real pain in their life to date, such as teenagers and young adults, the pain will be quite severe and unpleasant.

It basically all comes down to mind power. To a large extent it's possible to block out a lot of the pain just through thinking positive thoughts and not actually watching the tattoo artist inserting the needles into your skin. Try and stay relaxed and you should find the whole experience quite tolerable. Just keep thinking to yourself how happy you will be when the whole process is over and you have a dream tattoo design to show off to all your friends.

In many ways it's like going to the dentist and having vital repair work done to your teeth. You know it's going to be an unpleasant experience but you put up with the pain because you know that the end result will be worth it when you have a healthy set of teeth.

So to answer the original question - does getting a tattoo hurt? - it has to be said that yes it will hurt to a certain extent but it's a tolerable pain and certainly not the excruciating pain that a lot of people imagine it to be. If you have a low pain threshold or are simply nervous about getting a tattoo done, then don't get a tattoo done, or better still get a temporary tattoo done which is painless, but what I would say is that for most people the pain is nowhere near as bad as they imagined it to be.

Every person searches for their own version of divinity at one point or another in their lives. We each strive to be the best version of ourselves and we each want to feel that people are innately good. Angel tattoo designs have been one of the most popular for decades. People seem to relate to their beauty, power and grace. Whether it is a group of angels or just an angel's wings, these divine creatures represent something special and unique to each of us. For some it is a deeply spiritual connection. Binding the permanence of faith with the permanence of a tattoo can bring to light a very special relationship.

Angels can mean different things to men and women. For women, an angel often denotes the desire to maintain purity or their desire to be a good person. Angels symbolize the ultimate nurturer because they are often depicted as rescuers or saviours. It is fitting then that women usually find a common ground with them. Wearing one on your body signifies a deep desire to be cared for and looked after. It also shows one's own innate ability to protect oneself. Angels are a sign of strength for men. Many angels have been described as warriors of the soul. Men choose angel tattoos as a symbol for bravery and courage. Universally, angels signify protection for either sex. Many people look at angels as guardians and a gauge for the moral compass.

When it comes to angel tattoo designs, your options are literally endless! There are a variety of angels to choose from. Guardian angels are very popular for parents. They signify having the strength to protect those closest to you and exhibit the courageous protection of love. Cherub tattoos symbolize innocent love. Often people will add the names of loved ones lost to the image of a cherub. These are also suitable for remembering children as they were when they were little. Archangels are usually reserved for those with strong religious beliefs. In Christianity, only three angels are given the highest order of the angels. These are Gabriel, Michael and Raphael. Archangels can also be found in Judaism and Islam. The most controversial angels are those that have fallen. Fallen angels have been exiled from heaven. The most famous of these is Lucifer. These tattoos demonstrate the fragile nature of the spirit, but can also represent darker beliefs.

Since angel tattoo designs are increasing in popularity every year, it shouldn't be difficult to find a tattoo artist with a lot of experience. Creating beautiful angels is delicate work. Their facial expressions and the detail in their wings can only be duplicated by a true professional. Do your research thoroughly. There are many designs to browse online and you can always go into a tattoo shop to see sketches and photos of tattoos in person. Don't rush into a decision or let anyone talk you into a design you aren't totally sure about. Sleep on it and give yourself a lot of time to mull it over.

Hawaiian Henna Natural Tattoo Kit Hawaiian Henna Natural Tattoos & Body Paint Kit

Customer Review: on time
it arrived on time. no time to try it on yet, let me write about the quality after i try it.

I don't know precisely when locating good, quality drawn upper back tattoos become so hard, but it did. Just take in this statistic for a moment. Over 85% of you probably won't even find "one" site that truly has quality artwork. It's a shame, but most of you will jump from site to site that has generic junk thrown everywhere. Here's an easy solution to this mess, so you can locate just about any great site that has upper back tattoos.

This is exactly what most men and women need. They sure don't need help getting to sites that have cookie cutter tattoo designs. You can find twenty of them just by shutting your eyes and clicking around the web. The other thing you need to know s that you will most definitely need to change the ways you look for upper back tattoos. If this doesn't make a lot of sense, let me explain.

Like I stated earlier, 85% of you are not going to see much quality artwork. This is because just about all of you are probably using nothing other than a search engine to find them. This is the problem, because it's just not working. When you use one to look for upper back tattoos, you get thrown into a sea of sites that pound their database with as much cookie cutter artwork as they could grab. It's all about "quantity" to them and quality is a far distant second.

That's the only type of places search engines seem to bring up. The good news is that you don't have to follow that path. You can take a completely different path, which will easily lead you to the great tattoo galleries out there that always take pride in having fresh, quality drawn upper back tattoos. Sound good? It sure does and here's what you do.

All it takes is a different approach. You will be using forums instead of search engines. Simply put, forums are about 90 times better as bringing you to the wonderful tattoo galleries around the web. Now, you will want to stick close to the bigger forums, because they will have the most topics on tattoo subjects. Actually, most of them are filled with tattoo subjects. This is where you will finally find those hidden sites that have amazing upper back tattoos. These topics have tons of posts where people have shared their findings of sites with top notch artwork. Its all right there in front of you now.

This world as too many people with generic upper back tattoos already, so why not pick the absolute perfect design for "you"?

Here are the 3 largest, most original websites to browse for perfect Upper Back Tattoos.

Adam Woodham is the author of this article and runs the blog Quality Tattoo Art, which features the 3 top websites, with the absolute largest gallery of tattoo styles you will ever see. Finding the perfect upper back tattoos has never been easier.

Henna Gold Silver Hair Shampoo 12 oz.

Henna Gold Color Enhancing Shampoo for Silver Hair will minimize yellow tones and give a silvery luminescence to graying or white hair.

Since today is Wednesday and it is time for another celebrity tattoo post I thought I would go with former Spice Girl Victoria "Posh" Beckham. One of the reason I decided to do her today is because of the post I wrote yesterday about tattoos being trashy or sexy. Now it should be no surprise to people that Victoria has several tattoos and they are in noticeable places. But in my opinion the way she carries herself and they attitude she has her tattoos do not look trashy to me at all.

Victoria has five tattoos as of now and living up to her Posh nickname she has kept them classy if that makes any sense. Her first tattoo is on her lower back and it is five stars. The five starts represent her, David and their three sons, Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz.

Her second tattoo is going down the back of her neck. Victoria and David got these matching tattoos on their 6th wedding anniversary. It is in Hebrew and is from the Song of Songs 2:16: I am my beloved and my beloved is mine. Which is you remember Christina Aguilera has this same tattoo.

The third tattoo that Victoria has is MAY 08 1997 in roman numerals tattooed on her wrist. Strangely enough this is the first time the two had sex and Victoria thought it was a great event in her life to be remembered.

The forth tattoo she has is very self explanatory it is the DB on her wrist which stands for her husband David Beckham.

The last and newest of Victoria's tattoos is located on her wrist under the Roman numerals. However, no one is quit sure what is says. To me looks like it could say De Integra, De Enegra or De Intopa.

Japanese Dragon Tattoos - Why Would Anyone Want One?

You usually see Japanese dragon tattoos on a "bad guy" on TV. Thing is, Asian dragon tattoos are not really that fresh in terms of design idea. If you check out sample design books in tattoo shops or online tattoo design shops and you will notice that all of them have more than a dozen tattoo designs. Even those shops that print temporary tattoos, they have dragon designs on their sample design books.

In the Western world, they are seen as cunning and vile creatures that will do anything and everything to succeed that is why they are usually painted on antagonists on movies or TV shows. They are usually fire breathing and they are the culprit for a damsel being distressed.

But in reality, for the Asian culture, dragons are seen as celestial beings that can control the weather and at times, they are even keepers and guardians of a family. Dragons are kind and warm creatures but at the same time, they represent strength and power hooded with a great deal of humility and wisdom. This is how the Asian culture sees dragons, totally opposite as to how the Western world sees dragons.

Japanese Dragon tattoos can be placed in different parts of the body as this tattoo design is very versatile. An artist can coil it all over your hand, arm, leg, he or she can drape it over your shoulders or better yet, he or she can print your whole back with a Japanese dragon tattoos if you want.

Matthew J Stine is the author of this article and owns Design Your Own Tattoos, which features the 3 top websites with the utmost largest Japanese tattoo gallery you will ever see, including tons of Japanese tattoo artwork. Finding the perfect tattoo has never been easier.

Free Tattoo Patterns - Is Free Better?

You've come to this article probably looking for places you can find free tattoo patterns. You're going to pay good money to have a tattoo inked, so why are you looking for a free design that will probably reduce the quality of that tattoo?

Before you click 'back', think about the investment you are about to make on your body. You know the saying, 'you get what you pay for'. It holds true for this area also. Yes, we're always looking to find a good deal and you should try to save money wherever you can but will a free tattoo pattern be worth it for something that will be with you for life?

Time is money. If you spend days looking around the internet for truly free tattoo patterns sites and then looking through the tattoos they have, you have spent a lot of your time which may have been used more efficiently somewhere else.

What will you tell your friends when they ask where you got your design? Will your friends be impressed by your 'free' tattoo pattern? Will you be happy with your free design?

Many free tattoo patterns are not good quality. Most of the free tattoo designs that you find are not really designed to be used as tattoo designs. They might be pictures or designs that are created on a computer. Most free tattoo patterns that you find have poor quality with poor lines and detail. You might find a 'diamond in the ruff' but it could take a lot of time. Your time is better spent trying to find the best looking and most expressive design you can find.

A tattoo expresses your feelings. You want your tattoo to have meaning for you. The best way to do this is to find a unique tattoo design that you can modify to fit your style. You can also get a couple of different tattoo designs and take them to your tattoo artist and join them together.

The main thing is to take your time in choosing a tattoo, it can be a hard decision. It will be with you for life so you want it to be unique and imaginative. Stop using all your time looking for free tattoo patterns at website after website. Spend your time looking through thousands of the best tattoo designs all in one place.

Pre-mixed henna paste for instant application. Includes instructions for use.
Customer Review: Great Buy!
The product is small, but for 2$, compared to the other henna found for around 7$ this is a great buy! it comes with 3 tips, 2 of the same size and one that has a rectangular opening. the tips are pretty large but my henna came out alright. The only problem I encountered was that the packaging was made out of aluminum, i think, and it tore, squeezing henna through the tube which was a little messy. Another thing was that the henna would just begin pouring out when pushed a little. I had to hold it against a towel inbetween uses or when lifting it because it would keep flowing unless I blocked it.
